I come home from my underpaid job, late again. I open the fridge and remember that I didn’t prepare a sandwich for today. I didn’t even have time to do the shopping. It's the end of the month and I can't afford to eat out. I look hungrily at my flatmates' food, but I don't see anything I can take without them noticing. I end up cooking some pasta with pesto and taking the plate back to my room. My wall is full of posters, photos, and drawings —a window to another universe. I close my eyes, I'm not there anymore: I'm somewhere else.

The river is a place for family leisure. But it is also a place to connect with nature and with one's own animal essence. The flowing water marks the rhythm of human impulses.

16-11-2016/13-5-2017 - Two dates that define the period of time covered by this video diary, an autobiographical note in a diary brought to audiovisual media. A live narration that unfolds like any story told orally. The quilt on your grandmother's bed, your mother's meatballs, chats on the terrace of your student flat or the person who you shared your bed with sometimes.

Resilience is the energy of deformation that can be recovered from a deformed body when the strain causing the deformation ceases. In Psychology, it refers to the ability of human beings to overcome the emotional pain after a traumatic event. This work is a study of the deformations of colours and shapes that the surface of the waters of the Lérez River undergoes. Deprived of references to the context in which it was taken, the image of the river is abstracted to give way to the hypnotic cadence of the movement of the water. A purely visual walk along the Lérez River. A process of personal resilience.
