One hot spring day, Lluís has a strong argument with his father at the construction site where they work together as architects. As a result of this confrontation, Lluís abandons all his responsibilities, pushing his deepest fears to the limit, overwhelmed by the world around him. Instead of going to pick up his daughter Julia at his ex-partner's house, he begins an intense journey that will lead him to decide whether or not to take control of his life.

In Playa Chica, all generations of a southern Spanish town get together. Just opposite them is Africa... Tuna, discos, fishermen, and surfing. A question comes to mind, is what we see real or part of the (already dated) Mediterranean dream of sensuality and freedom?

During the COVID-19 lockdown in Spain, my film classes are online. Through the Zoom platform I see Fede every day in class. I obsess about the impossibility of looking into each other's eyes and even the inability to feel looked at. Does the freedom of the gaze grow through interconnected rooms?
