Mimosas, his second film, won the Grand Prix at the 2016 Cannes International Film Festival Critics Week and it premiered in Spanish movie theatres through NUMAX Distribution that same year. After serving a sentence for causing a fire, Amador is released. Nobody is waiting for him when he gets out of prison. He goes back to a village hidden in the mountains of rural Lugo to live with his elderly mother, Benedicta, his dog Luna and their three cows. Life goes on calmly, following the rhythm of nature. But everything changes when a raging fire sweeps the region.
